How can I take care of my candles?

A candle burn is affected by several factors including size and shape of product, wick, scent, temperature/draft in the room. The key to achieving the perfect burn is to always allow your candle to completely melt across the top before blowing it out to avoid tunneling. Before each burn, make sure your wick is trimmed to 6mm. Don’t drop debris, like matches or wick trimmings, into the wax. Don’t place your burning candle on sensitive or uneven surfaces. Discontinue burning your candle when about 3mm of wax remains. 

  • Never move or leave candles unattended while burning
  • Re-trim the wick before every use to 6mm inch.
  • Burn soy candles long enough to ensure even burn pool.
  • Discontinue use when only 3mm inch of wax remains.
  • Keep candles away from children and pets.
  • Be careful putting soy candles in direct sunlight or close to warm sources because they will melt.  
  • Always place soy candles on or in a flat and stable surface.

 

What is your return policy? 

The Home Studio offers a 25-days Return Policy. 

We only accept returns that meet all the return requirements: 

  1. Product must be unopened, unused, and not damaged. 
  2. Must be returned within 25-days of receipt. 
  3. Must be in original packaging (including shipping box)

If it meets all the above requirements, you can send us an e-mail at: thehomestudiobusiness@gmail.com with the subject "Return" and include your order number, name, and reason for return. We will then provide you with a retour form and instructions on how to return the goods. Customers are responsible for shipping costs of returned items.

Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items


Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges: 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will let you know once we’ve received and inspected your return, and notify you whether the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

When will I receive my order?

Fulfilment time:

We are a small company that started recently and produce in small batches. It can take up to 5 days to process and fulfill your order. After we received your order, we pass the package to the shipping company.

Shipping fee:

Enjoy free shipping for orders over 35 euros. Below 35 euros, orders will be charged with a 4,50 euro shipping fee.  Shipping fee will be calculated at check-out. 

Shipping time:

Shipping can take up to 5 business days, however, this depends on the duration of our shipping company. Delivery is only possible in the Netherlands and Belgium.
